Freeze fruit porridge: 9 easy recipes

First of all it is necessary to clarify that the fruits can indeed go to the freezer . Ideally, it should be eaten fresh, but in the rush of everyday life, we mothers need some practicality . It won’t be the rule every day, but it will save moments of chaos.

To freeze fruit in general it is important to peel, remove the seeds and cut into pieces or blend in a blender . The golden tip for those fruits that brown is to add (when whipped) a tablespoon of lemon juice .

Another simple thing to do that makes it easier to store and defrost is to put the porridge in ice cube trays . Once completely frozen, remove the cubes and place in freezer bags.

When defrosting, transfer the desired portion from the freezer to the refrigerator . Avoid leaving any food to thaw at room temperature, as there is a risk of bacterial contamination . You can speed up the process by making a double boiler or microwave.

1 – Apple Food

Ingredients: 

  • 3 small apples;
  • 500ml of water;

Cook two apples whole and unpeeled for approximately 20 minutes and set aside.

Beat the third unpeeled apple in a blender until a thick juice forms.

The peels of cooked apples will come off easily, peel and mash with a fork. Then mix the juice and serve warm or iced.

2 – Plum porridge with pear

Ingredients:

  • 1 large pear (260g);
  • 6 prunes with seed (50g);
  • 4 blackheads;
  • 500 ml of water.

Leave the prunes to soak in water and in the refrigerator for 12 hours. Boil the water in which the plums were, then add the plums, chopped pear and cloves.

When the pears are tender, remove from water and mash with a fork. Remove seeds from prunes and blend in a blender or food processor. Blackheads you can discard.

Then just mix the purees of the two fruits and refrigerate.

3 – Avocado porridge with pear

Ingredients:

4 – Apple Food with Guava

Ingredients:

  • 2 guavas;
  • 5 apples;
  • 2 oranges.

Squeeze the oranges to extract the juice and place in a pan. Add the guava and chopped apples and cook.

5 – Papaya Food with Mango

Ingredients:

  • ½ papaya papaya;
  • 1 manga Palmer.

Ingredients:
