Acne is a skin condition that is shown by different pimples, bumps, cysts or blackheads. It can appear in different areas of the body: the face , neck, back and shoulders.

TYPES OF ACNE
Acne vulgaris: It is the mildest type of acne. Pimples and blackheads appear but in moderate quantity, and in few areas of the body.

Atrophic acne: It is a type of populous acne but it has evolved in a very intense way, leaving marks or small scars on the skin, after the pimple or blackhead disappears.
HOME REMEDIES TO PREVENT ACNE
To prevent acne in our children there are many products on the market, all with chemical components, contain alcohol, and many other substances that are not very favorable for our skin. Although if your dermatologist prescribes any medication you must follow the treatment.
But we have always had home remedies, because acne is much older than laboratories, therefore there were already remedies for acne before artificial creams or lotions. We are going to discover some home remedies, very natural and inexpensive :
Lemon: Squeeze a lemon and dip a cotton ball in its juice, apply on the affected areas gently. Do it before you go to sleep.
Garlic: Rub raw garlic on the affected area or areas, you can do it several times a day, although the smell is strong.
Carrot: Make a juice with a few carrots and drink it. It is an antioxidant, very healthy, does not provide calories and will stop acne.
Apple cider vinegar: Put a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball, and moisten the area affected by acne. The acid in the vinegar will help clean the pores on your skin.
Cucumber: You can make a juice by blending several cucumbers and apply it on the areas affected by acne. We can also drink this juice. Cucumber has many properties, it purifies the blood, the skin and helps the lymphatic system.
Egg whites: Separate the white from the yolk. With a cotton ball apply the egg white on the area affected by acne, leave it to act for several hours, it is advisable to apply it at night and thus leave it until the next morning.
Tomato: Blend two tomatoes and apply on the affected areas as a mask. Leave on for about ten minutes and then wash your face with plenty of water. The tomato removes excess fat.
Basil: Put a couple of teaspoons of dried basil leaves in boiling water, let it steep for 15 minutes, and then apply to the skin in the areas affected by acne.
Aloe: We can use aloe gel, or aloe ointments. They are applied several times a day on the affected areas, we can buy them in herbalists or eco stores.
Acne usually disappears with adolescence, but there are cases of more severe acne, which can last for more years, even in adulthood. We should always consult with our dermatologist to find out what type of acne is.
