If you are a mom you have to do this for yourself
If you are a mother you have to learn to do this for yourself, because nobody will do it for you!
Nobody told you it was easy, in fact, it isn’t at all. Being a mother is the most complicated thing you can do in your life, but also the most rewarding, much more than you could have imagined at any other time in your life. When you are a mother, every week is challenging … life with children is complete, but it is also chaotic, beautiful and not at all boring.
But in order for you to really be happy in your motherhood, there are some things that you will have to learn to do for yourself. Don’t expect others to do it for you, because they won’t. You need to know that there are things you will need to do for yourself and for yourself, to improve your quality of life and your physical and emotional well-being.

STAY AWAY FROM WHAT HURTS YOU
When something bothers or hurts you, just put your distance. It can be physical or emotional distance, depending on the circumstances you have at the time. If there is a situation that frustrates you, you will have to give it some space. From time to time it is not bad for you to walk away what hurts you … And if necessary, allow someone else to take over.
On the one hand, this is good for your children, because they will have the healthy perspective of how to handle the most challenging moments in life, and also, because the other adult of the couple, will be able to temporarily take care of what affects you, to recharge your batteries and then carry it together.
TOGETHER BUT NOT MIXED
Even if you raise your children with your partner, you are not the same and sometimes the way you spend time with your children is not the same either. Perhaps he or she spends more time with your children or plays more and you are more authoritative. This is not bad. This means that each of you have found your role, but what matters is that after having your role, both of you go together in parenting.
You and your partner must be the best team when it comes to raising your little ones, but you must accept and respect that you are two different people, with your own ideals and thoughts. But, as adults, you must agree to raise your children.
DO EXERCISE
It’s true. The hours of the day fly by and you may not have as much time as you used to to be able to exercise. But you need to somehow get out of sedentary life. Exercising should be done to feel good and not out of obligation. If you do it reluctantly, it is not worth trying.
Think about what you like to do. You do not need to go to the gym , maybe going for a walk with your children or dancing at home is more than enough for you. Moving around and exercising that you like is a great way to keep your mind and body healthy.
FIND MOMENTS FOR READING
Reading is the exercise of your mind and for you to be well both on the outside and on the inside, it is important that you exercise your mind every day. You can read books to your children, stories or comics. Reading aloud is also a good job for you and if you have time, you can also read your own books. Thus, you do not have to spend all your free time in front of the television …
Sometimes the most everyday habits like reading are the ones that have the most impact on you. And if in addition to reading, you also write a journal … the benefits will be innumerable!
SPEND TIME WITH YOU
When you are a mother, time for yourself becomes a privilege. That time is disappearing, it seems that time already belongs to us, that it is a lost right. But it’s not like that. You need to have time for yourself, to get to know yourself, to regain energy, to know who you are outside of motherhood … you are your best friend and you must take care of yourself .
LAUGH!
Young children need to grow up happy and they do it if you are too by their side. Young children are funny and every day there are more reasons to laugh and smile. The reality is that being at home all day with young children is exhausting and frustrating on many occasions.
So from now on, find a way to laugh. Look for videos on YouTube that are funny, share funny phrases with friends or family, watch comic series … Enjoy your own smile! Endorphins will do everything else for you.
