Things you have to sacrifice when you have children
When I know you are a father or mother, you have to sacrifice some things … But so that it does not affect you, it is necessary to do it well.
In the modern world we live in, it seems that sacrifice is normal for parents. Their own needs and desires are pushed into second place because children will always be at the top of the priority scale. With this impulsive and immediately satisfying society, we make the mistake of sacrificing what really matters for things that are actually banal in family life.
If you want to be a successful parent, do you really need to sacrifice yourself in order to raise responsible children and create a happy home environment ?

LEARN TO SACRIFICE
When a man becomes a father or a woman a mother, they learn by necessity to sacrifice things like: sleep , comfort or social life. These sacrifices are not usually short-lived because you are a parent for life and raising children takes many years. Many things that before having children were a priority now remain in the background because they could take your family away from you or they would influence in some way negatively.
In reality, when a father or mother makes these sacrifices, they do not do it reluctantly and in fact, they find that they do not miss them as much as they thought, because their family comes first at all times. The joys that are lived outweigh any sacrifice that needs to be made.
So when you commit to sacrificing for your family , what kinds of things do you give up, and what will you experience that you will lose if you don’t sacrifice it the right way?
MONEY
Having children is quite expensive: clothes, diapers, furniture, schools, bigger cars, road safety, food, toys … They can make your bank account begin to drop quickly and your whims are forgotten forever. You need to have a family budget and take care of it to prevent money from becoming a problem.
Maybe before you had other pleasures that cost you money, but now that is no longer available to you. You may have had to quit your yoga classes in order to enroll your child in English classes … but you can do yoga at home!
TIME
Having children takes time, a lot of time! Especially if you want to do it right. There will be days when after a long day at work, you will have to come home and make dinner, clean something at home, and be a mom or dad because your kids need you. When they go to sleep, you will also go to bed because your energy will be low. You will go to bed thinking that you haven’t done anything for yourself all day.
You have to think about the value of time, because now that you have children, it has changed dramatically! You no longer give your time to just anyone … Although going to have a coffee with friends is good for you from time to time, it is not something you do every day, because it rewards you much more to spend more time with your children !
HOBBIES
Time is related to hobbies and if you don’t have time, hobbies also take a back seat. Perhaps it is more complicated when you see that your friends continue doing those hobbies without you, because they are more available than you. You really don’t have to give up what you like to do, you will simply have to decrease the intensity and frequency, but it is something that is good for you and that you should not give up!
FRIENDS
New parents often find themselves orbiting in a different world than their childless friends. It may be a good idea to connect with other people who are also parents, because you may not have as much to talk about with those who do not have children … you may have to sacrifice some previous friends who no longer share your interests and values, you can find new friends that they share more with you in your new stage of life.
