School bully without family repercussions
What can you do if your child’s bully has no repercussions for his actions at home?
Sometimes there may be school bullies in schools who continue to do their thing with impunity. They do not care about anything, not school consequences or anything that happens to them, because when they get home, their parents do not punish them, nor do they think about the consequences that their actions may have, nor do they have retaliation of any kind. This does not help the bully at all, who will end up having serious social problems both in the short and long term.
Being bullied is a traumatic experience for many children, but dealing with parents who will not punish their bullying children could become a traumatic experience for you, too. You should be careful how you deal with the stalker for fear of causing legal ramifications.
There are ways to get to the root of the problem. You just have to be patient and learn how you can responsibly – and legally – make sure that the bullying stops and that the bully does not do more of his or her with your child or with others.

REMOVE THE INCENTIVE
Eliminate the harasser incentive, if there is one in particular . If a bully is targeting your child because he wants his music player or lunch money, don’t let him take him to school. Have him leave his music at home and have lunch before leaving, or prepay for his lunch at school, if that’s a viable option.
If the bully’s parents don’t seem to punish their child for bullying yours, you can sometimes deal with the bully by removing the incentive .
TALK TO THE TEACHERS
Talk to teachers and any other adults in your child’s life for help. If you have tried to stop the bullying by talking to the bully’s family and have realized that their parents will not punish them for their behavior, then you will have to go one step further to make it stop.
If the bully’s parents do not reprimand their child, and the bullying is occurring at school, your child’s school may do something to punish the bully, such as detention or expulsion in the case of repeated reports.
RESEARCH THE LAW OF YOUR COUNTRY
Find out what the law is in your country regarding bullying. Check what the law is regarding bullies, you can even ask on toll-free phones or in chats of foundations that work to help children and families who suffer from bullying. In Spain we find the ANAR Foundation, for example.
From the foundation you can learn what actions you can legally take to deal with a bully who is not learning to treat others kindly at home because her parents do not punish her. You will learn what your country allows you to do in handling a stalker, who to contact regarding a stalker, and what will happen to the stalker once it is reported.
Many of the bullying laws also cover cyber bullying . Many also present model state policies that you could use to implement anti-bullying policies in your area.
Remember that violence is not cured with more violence, so never threaten or touch a stalker. Never confront one without another adult present and taking care of the forms to avoid that the legal consequences fall on you. You must act thinking very well about what you are doing and acting according to the laws, as long as, with the appropriate steps to ensure that the bullying that your child is suffering stops and that the bully can receive the necessary consequences to get him to stop this hostile behavior that benefits no one, not even himself.
