Teach your kids to stop screaming
Do your children make a lot of fuss and scream while playing? This is how you should promote soft play.
Many young children have earned a reputation for being mischievous, but parents can teach children to stop screaming and play calmly and carefully. With a little practice, you can teach your child to take on younger siblings, playmates, and pets with a gentler touch.
It is important that children learn to play softly and without screaming at home. Young children do not necessarily know how to behave properly with newborns, pets, or even companions . Adults, however, can demonstrate and teach calm and gentle demeanor. Teach your kids to learn to play smoothly.

ROLEPLAY
Role play is a great way to teach children with a hands-on approach, and with young children it is often much more effective than words. If you are expecting a new baby, have your child practice being kind using a doll or stuffed animal.
In addition to modeling behavior, it is important to explain why you need to be nice. If you usually play with your siblings, the role play modeled by you will be a good idea for them to learn more appropriate social skills every time they play together, and they can even learn, conflict resolution.
USE GOOD TONE AND CALM MOVEMENTS
Children often use shrill voices to address others, even babies or pets. You need to teach your children to display calm and gentleness through slow, controlled movements, soft voices, and gentle touches.
Demonstrate how young children should touch babies and how they should pet animals. It also teaches how they should approach playmates in the same way. Parents should teach young children that their peers and older children and adults do not like to be pushed, touched, yelled at or kicked, even during play.
YOU MUST BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL
Children learn best by example. As a result, adults must use calm and gentle tones and gestures if they want their children to do the same. If parents behave in a gentle way, young children will understand how it should be done.
On the other hand, if parents yell or have bad behaviors, young children will not learn to behave differently. As a parent, it can be intimidating to know that you are modeling the behavior that your children will adopt and learn. However, if you look at this another way, it means that you are in control of much of what your child will imitate, and that instructing your child in gentle behavior is sometimes as simple as modeling it yourself.
PRAISE PLAYING WITHOUT YELLING
Parents can use praise whenever children are playing without yelling and treating others kindly. They should avoid the temptation to criticize young people for behaving in a specific way and make better use of positive reinforcement.
Positive reinforcement is more effective than negative reinforcement and affects children’s behavior. Try not to tell a young child that he is doing wrong; instead, it offers better ways to practice holding a doll or stroking a pet’s fur. Don’t put excessive pressure on a child to behave carefully.
Offer your children lessons on sweetness gradually over a period of time, remembering that anyone needs time to master any skill or behavior.
WHAT IF IT COSTS YOU?
Teaching your child to play carefully and without screaming is a process that can last throughout childhood, it will not happen overnight. Even some children may have a hard time getting it. There are a number of medical conditions that could be influencing your child’s behavior if he just doesn’t seem to be learning over time. Talk to your pediatrician if you have any concerns.
